Ever noticed how restless we get if things are not going the way we expect them to. We get anxious in anticipation of what may happen. We are constantly bogged down by our thought process of what will happen, how will it happen, why something is not happening and so on.
For some of us any situation/ scenario makes us restless. We are restless or comfortably numb no matter what. We don’t feel at home in either situation; when things fall in place and even when they are not in place. Both scenarios make some of us jittery. We are never prepared to accept the situation. Good, bad or ugly we continue to feel some amount of anxiety and discomfort. Such experiences have made me realize that somehow we love chaos. Even when the factors are missing, we create them. The constant thought processes in our head make us dwell on situations and mostly we end up tangling even the most seamless of situations. In our heads we are not ready to accept that things are actually falling in place. Somewhere in our sub-consciousness we keep waiting for something wrong to happen.
Is it that we don’t respect ourselves enough? Is it that we lack clarity in our thoughts? Do we not know what we want? Despite the understanding that we shouldn’t judge, assume, label and tag people around us, still we tend to. Rather than letting people unfold themselves we start our analysis. We interpret each word and action. Even the slightest of familiarity with their action and words make us correlate them to our past experiences.
We need to set free from our inhibitions. All the thought processes results in creating chaos and more chaos. Complicating situations that are already simplified will not benefit under any circumstance. It’s always better to let go.
