This is a Nepali mother journey 6 months later after having a son with Down Syndrome and how it has changed their life for the good.As shocking it may be, it came as acceptance at last.They have learnt to enjoy life as it is and appreciate what God has created for them.

When I came to Uganda most of people can speak in English even in the rural areas. I do not know they can write fluently like speaking but at least they can properly communicate in the English language. Because education system is in English medium. Drinking alcohol is allowed by law. Companies manufacturing and selling beer, whisky and vodka should be requested to roll out more responsible marketing strategies. They must do their best to minimize or offset any possibilities of generating unhealthy drinking habits among the general population and especially among youth.
