New Year's Euphoria!

As I wake up this morning, everything seems different - changed, for good. I feel like I can win it all; every battles, every decisions, every competitions and not to mention, every lotteries! A new year, a new life, a new WIFE and..... two KIDS??!! Ops!! That can’t be true! Then I wake up.... again! And see nothing has changed except the last digit of the year from 2013 to 2014. Else, everything is SAME, the same me, my life, same room and a pile of clothes at the corner desperately waiting to being washed for last few weeks!

One thing is for sure, change in calendar year does not change everything. Yes, we can be hopeful for change though. Try to apply the lesson learnt from the past year and not make similar mistakes over and over again.

The year 2013 has taught me few things.

  1. That nothing lasts forever – My grandfather, my greatest hero, was around me since the time I can last remember. I had taken it for granted. Now, he is no more. I could not see him and bid goodbye for the final time. He will be thoroughly missed!
  2. That you can’t make everybody happy - There are many examples for this. The general example could be the recent nomination for the Proportional Representatives of each party.
  3. You can’t be everywhere at the same time.
  4. You can succeed if you give it more importance to the task – The recent success of Nepal Cricket team to qualify for the World Cup can be one of the examples.
  5. You can fall in love many times with the same girl. (Well, I am feeling shy now!)
  6. And last but not the least, All Aamir Khan Movies (referring to Dhoom 3) cannot be brilliant.

I have to admit that the environment of New Year provides some energy to everyone. Though many of us use it to PARTY all night! I chose to wake up at 4 am and write my first article of the year and promise myself to write throughout my life (until and unless someone tells me what I write is crap!)

This year is certainly going to be bigger and better.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014 !
